Deb's Noochy Licious Cheese Sauce
This is a highly nutritious and delicious VEGAN cheese sauce! It is easy to make in a blender and will last for a week in the refrigerator. Use it as a dip or pour it over nachos, enchiladas, vegetables, or whatever you can create! Nutritional yeast is considered good for you because it's a rich source of plant-based protein, B vitamins, fiber (particularly beta-glucan), and trace minerals, which can contribute to various health benefits like boosting immunity, promoting gut health, managing blood sugar, and potentially lowering cholesterol levels.

- 1 cup Organic Potato Flakes (additive-free)
- 1/2 cup Noochy Licious Nutritional Yeast Flakes
- 1 tsp Himalayan or Sea Salt
- 2 tbsp Filtered Water
- 1 cup Organic Plant Based Yogurt, unsweetened
- 1 cup Organic Soy Milk or Plant Based Milk, unsweetened
Add all the ingredients into a high speed blender.
Blend on high for 90 seconds or until silky and warm.
The white sauce will be hot out of the blender. The cheese sauce will continue to thicken as it cools slightly.
It can be served warm or cool.
Store in your refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- You can also use Organic Cassava flour in place of the potato flakes if you cannot find them organic. The consitency may be a bit thicker so you have to play with it and the water amount.
- If you do not use soy, you can replace it with another plant based milk like almond or coconut. The coconut milk may change the flavor a bit.
- Many people like to add roasted red peppers for added flavor.
